syn- is an electronic music project between sound and music lovers Roygbiv and St. Stereo – founded in Berlin in 2015. Their background in sound engineering obtained in a conservatory of music is reflected in their approach of sculpting music material and building smooth harmonies. Duo experiments with a multitude of beat driven everyday sounds combined with melancholic melodic twists. Layering, field recordings, sampling and granular synthesis are just some of the sound design tools being used in creating syn- music.
