OSC (Open Sound Control) Is a protocol that allows Softwares and Hardwares (especially music related ones) to communicate together over IP addresses. This protocol might be seen as a successor of MIDI protocol even though it never replaced its ancestor. I personally exploited the possibilities of this powerful way of communication in various Max For Live Devices and other software applications I developed.
Resolume Player is a collection of Plug-ins that use the versability of Live to control Resolume via OSC.
